The Stage

i remember the stage. It seemed so big, the floor of the stage was higher than my chest. i don't like hights, being in front of people, or singing in public.... So why did i agree to perform in the Girls Choir at Heritage Days in Fair Grove? Well... truth be told, my arm was twisted. i didn't really want to go, but it was expected. And i was told it would be a lot of fun. i hate to admit it, but it was a lot of fun! i don't remember what songs we sang, but i remember being on the stage, and i remember enjoying it! We sang two songs and i remember that i wanted to sing more. That day was a lot of fun, the kids from my church explored the fair all afternoon, we ate way too much & laughed too hard, had lots of inside jokes and made fun of everyone and everything. It was a good day. We just had fun, we didn't worry about anything. We were just kids, and it was great.
